Based on this documentation, Dynatrace will roll out a new version every 4 weeks for Dynatrace Managed and Dynatrace ONE will not support versions of Dynatrace Managed Cluster older than 3 months.
The problem is that our customers are unable to follow this update mechanism due to company regulations.
I have some questions:
- If we haven't updated for more than 3 months, do we still have support for issues that unrelated or haven't fixed in the latest release?
- Since we don't have auto-update enabled, can we jump update to the latest version? For example from version 1.200 to 1.208.
- What are the effects of not updating other than getting new features and security improvements?
Thank you for the help.
Regards,
Andre

1. Yes, we can help you workaround things or explain them. No, we will not ship fixes.
2. No your cannot. You need to apply all updates. The reason is we don't want to test all the combination of upgrades, but rather innovate and add new features, instead.
3. I'm not aware of any side-effects than you mentioned.
