When I turn on monitoring-data backup do I need extra strorage

Given a certain sizing, is this with or without the extra space needed for monitoring-data backup?

Hi Henk,

yes the storage requirements for Dynatrace Managed are without backup files. The backup files essentially are the same size as the Metrics storage.

However, backup files can be stored on slower disks.
