ServiceName in docker container

I have installed OneAgent in a docker container running my node application. When I check the traces in Dynatrace in Services,  I see ts-node as service. Is there any way to configure custom service name? I have tried to use DT_APPLICATIONID without success.

Thanks.

You can find in the service properties what Dynatrace detected and you can learn about how Dynatrace .detects services.

Services can be renamed:

  • manually in the Dynatrace UI (the 3 dot menu on the service screen)
  • by using Service naming rules, this is useful when you need to force a naming convention for some of your services, i.e. a prefix

You can also alter how services are detected (and you can also merge them) by using service detection rules.
