The section near the end of this link goes into what will be detected as logs and monitored automatically - basically anything that is in a /log or /logs directory or that has the extension .log. So it really doesn't seem to matter what type of log or technology it is related to, but it should try to correlate that with any of the monitored processes. You can also manually specify logs to follow.
