About timing of update-module download when manual update OneAgent

Hello all,

I have a question about timing of update-module download when manual update OneAgent.

My customer is concerned about when the module is downloaded.

According to the document as below, I understand that the update-module is downloaded when the UPDATE button is pressed on "Monitoring overview" page - "Hosts" tab.

Is my understanding correct?

Hi Hiroshi,

In general this is true - the download will happen as soon as the "update" button is pressed. Note however that in some situations the download might be delayed, for example: cluster update is in progress, quota for maximum number of concurrent installer downloads got exhausted, etc. If any of these happen, the download will be triggered as soon as the limiting condition disappears and this will happen automatically, without a need for further action on user's side.
