yes, SAML is work in progress and we will start an EAP soon. Please check this thread in a few weeks or feel free to ask for an update.

What is the latest on this? Will there be plans to add LDAP integration to SaaS in the future, too?

Also - will manually created user accounts be merged into the respective accounts in the SAML system?

Hello,

We'll provide SAML federation support in April 2019. Including authorisation, e.g., groups are sent via SAML assertion attributes from customer's IdP to Dynatrace. Users will be created on-demand if they are entitled (based on the groups) to use Dynatrace.
