Hi,
Why even after the installation of dynatrace managed server the server is downloading a lot of setup with different versions numbers or patch numbers in /var/opt/dynatrace-managed/agents folder. I checked yesterday it was nothing initially there and then now its almost 39 folders and most of them have the same setup only with different version numbers.

Hi Gopikrishnan,
Dynatrace has old agent versions available in case a use case arrises where you want to install a particular version of the OneAgent on a machine.
For example, in the screenshot below you can see how you can select a different default version - even though the recommendation is to always use the last version.
Hope this helps.

Kristof
Hi,
the OneAgent and Security Gateway distributions are not included in the Dynatrace Managed instalation package, as such these dependencies must be downloaded. All the supported versions are downloaded, which I agree makes limited sense for a new installation.
The team plans to correct this behavior, but I don't have a specific date when the fix is available.
kind regards,
Krzysztof
Is it possible to control the number of old agents which is stored on the Cluster Nodes? One of our current installations is consuming 46GB for agents. Most of which are never going to be used.
