We have used this IBM PerfServlet for years to ingest PMI metrics from webSphere. Now we are moving to Dynatrace, we want to know if we can ingest the same data in Dynatrace. The perfServlet
The PerfServlet is invoked via a URL with a credintial on the URL and it returns back XML with Performance Data
from the internal product of IBMs

How best to write extract these PMI data, is there an extension that invoke URL on a webserver and parse back XML from the returned results.
Also in Dynatrace itself does the perservlet becomes redundant as DT is able to cover all those metrics?
Any input on the above two points is much appreciated.
