Service detection rules - API vs UI

perhaps I dont read documentation detailed enough, but I have simple question:  Is there any difference in service detection rules defined/modified in UI vs API?

Any limitations in UI you can only do in API?

Hi service detection on UI and API are the same, the use case is what matters. The UI is more user friendly and beginner friendly in my experience. 🙂
