path for hostcustomproperties

Hello all.

I have a question about the hostcustomproperties.conf file

It must be in the path / var / lib / dynatrace / oneagent / agent / config even though my installation is in a path is not the default?

INSTALL_PATH = soft / dynatrace

Hi Jose,

since OneAgent 1.189 you should use oneagentctl to set host properties. Have a look here: https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/tagging-hostautotag#oneagent-command-line-parameter...

The file location is an implementation detail and the file itself shouldn't be modified directly, please use oneagentctl instead.
