Capture user action on page which does not have API call involved

We have a requirement to capture user events on page which does not have any XHR call involved, like capture checkbox click or button on page which has small JavaScript function running on click.

Sorry, I did not elaborated my problem. We already setup Dynatrace RUM and getting all the user actions like XHR calls, page change etc but only those user events are not visible in User session when user is on the page and clicking on checkbox or clicking a button which does not have any API call etc. So not sure how to define them in User Actions. Do I need to do something custom?

I suspect that in this case you need to configure Custom User Action. You can find all the documentation here🙂

Hello,

Most probably you will need custom user action as @radek_jasinski mentioned, but you can also check the application settings as below screenshot, you may need to enable some of them as per your need.
