On May 1, 2024, Microsoft will end support for all Xamarin SDKs.
Therefore, we will deprecate Dynatrace OneAgent for Xamarin in May 2024. The last version supporting Xamarin will be 8.291. After that, we’ll only provide bug fixes and address critical security issues.
You can continue monitoring your Xamarin apps with Dynatrace as long as you use the last-supported version (8.291), which will be released in May 2024.
In accordance with the Dynatrace Support Policy, support for Dynatrace OneAgent for Xamarin will end 12 months later, in May 2025. After that, Dynatrace will no longer provide bug fixes or support related to Xamarin.
We recommend upgrading your Xamarin projects to .NET and using Dynatrace OneAgent for .NET MAUI instead of the soon-to-be deprecated OneAgent for Xamarin.
