In this episode, Radu Stefan @Radu and Andreas Grabner @andreas_grabner talk about Dynatrace Extensions 2.0 for Visual Studio Code.
Dynatrace Extensions 2.0 provides a powerful framework to extend Dynatrace with additional observability domain knowledge for specific technology domains, e.g: Apache Kafka, F5 Load Balancers, Database Observability.
A Dynatrace Extensions allows every Dynatrace user to define what and how important observability data to ingest (Prometheus, WMI, JMX, SNMP, Python ...), how to visualize the data (via Dashboards or Unified Analysis Screens), how the data points relate to each other (Relationships between metrics and entities) and how to alert on anomalies.
To make the development, testing, and managing of Dynatrace Extensions even easier we are happy to announce the new Dynatrace Add-On for Visual Studio Code.
