It is annoying to add in an extra > and search entities if you’re just trying to find something globally. At least have some default set of entity types you can customize.
For example, I almost always want to be able to search for a host or IP or service name or application. I don’t want to open the search window, hit “>” followed by typing out “entities”, hitting enter, then searching for the thing I want to look for. Just keep it as global search or, at minimum, allow you to set a default search category in your user preferences.
