Wall-e is one of my favorite movies ever. It was mentioned above.
I also like mind blowing movies, specially this one:
That’s the movie who make me fall in love with Gyllenhaal.
And I would like to mention this other one above, it is not great, but it did inspired me in so many ways.

Ohhh this is a tough challenge! Especially for a Libra
Sooo many good movies in so many genres to choose from.
(And sooo many bad ones to ignore
)
The Best Film ever, especially in the category Westerns. (And I loooove Westerns, so I have more than a fist full titles to choose from that are Good, bad and Ugly):
Once Upon a Time in the West - as it happens from by birth year
- Frank: Morton once told me I could never be like him. Now I understand why. …
- Harmonica: So, you found out you’re not a businessman after all.
- Frank: Just a man.
- Harmonica: An ancient race. Other Mortons’ll be along, and they’ll kill it off.
- Frank: The future don’t matter to us. …
- Harmonica: Only at the point of dyin’.
Special mention of DJANGO UNCHAINED.
I like anything Tarantino
Vincent : You know what they put on French fries in Holland instead of ketchup?
Jules : What?
Vincent : Mayonnaise.
Jules : ■■■■■■■.
Vincent : I’ve seen ‘em do it, man. They ■■■■■■’ drown 'em in that ■■■■.
Anything with Johnny Depp
War movies, definitly
The Longest Day, Schindler’s List, Das Boot, Saving Private Ryan, 1917, Glory, Band of Brothers, The Pacific…
Everybody already seen Oppenheimer?
I am a big fan of the better sci-fi and post-apocalyptic movies.
The Matrix, Mad Max, Inception, Tenant, The Fifth Element, 001: A Space Odyssey (1968), Blade Runner, ET, Back to the Future, Minority Report, Oblivion, Interstellar, Contact, Hunger Games, the list is endless
And I am a huge fan of cinematograpic ground breaking movies, like camera work and special effects.
The Matrix, Dr Strange (2016), Jurrasic Park (1), Avatar, Titanic…
and of course, the best film ever made:
Brian: Look, you’ve got it all wrong! You don’t need to follow me. You don’t need to follow anybody! You’ve got to think for yourselves! You’re all individuals!
Crowd: Yes! We’re all individuals!
Brian: You’re all different!
Crowd: Yes, we are all different!
Man in crowd: I’m not…
Crowd: Shhh!
and let’s not forget about Spaceballs and the Austin Powers trilogy 😄
I’m afraid I’m forgetting a few titles…

The conjuring,
Interstellar,
Studio Ghibli movies (Spirited away, Ponyo, Hawl’s moving castle…and more)

I LOVE the Lobster!

I love pretty much anything by Wes Anderson, but my favorite is probably Moonrise Kingdom (followed by Fantastic Mr. Fox
a GREAT who-done-it is Knives Out
For my documentary buffs (and foodies) out there, Jiro Dreams of Sushi is one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen:
and for my outdoors doc rec: Free Solo was very interesting and beautifully shot, but I saw it in the theater and was absolutely terrified the entire time:
I took a Spanish Cinematography class in college that introduced me to these incredible Spanish-language films:
The Motorcycle Diaries , All About My Mother, and Machuca
And finally, somebody already said The Shawshank Redemption - but it gets another mention because it’s the only movie I’ve ever watched where I finished it and immediately started it over and watched it again I liked it so much.
