ActiveGates that have updated to version 1.347 are presenting empty Syslog data
This situation is caused by a change in default behavior for syslog handling when ingesting non-standard syslogs (not adhering to RFC 5424 nor RFC 3164 formats).
As a workaround you can update the following yaml file:
/var/lib/dynatrace/remotepluginmodule/agent/conf/syslog.yaml
Find the following line (estimated line 42):
- set(body, attributes["message"])
This will need to be updated to:
- set(body, attributes["message"]) where attributes["message"] != nil
