Is it possible to deactivate the low disk space anomaly detection at the hosts group level?

I think you can achieve this by using Custom disk-detection rules at the host-group level
Dear @Mohamed_Hamdy
I appreciate your feedback. I do not observe the identical on/off mechanism. Rather, we must decrease the percentage and sample limit parameters. Furthermore, even if I adjust the value to 0%, alerts will still be activated.

Hello @Babar_Qayyum , you can create the rule and disable it, Disabled custom disk detection rules will exclude all matching disks from environment settings
Dear @Mohamed_Hamdy
I appreciate your comments. Are you suggesting that the aforementioned custom rule, which has been created and subsequently disabled, should perform an equivalent function for the hosts group?

Hi,
I would try to use disk edge as much as possible. It would be the most flexible option.
Best regards
Hello @AntonPineiro
What would be the procedure to achieve the subject objective?

Hi,
Using Disk Edge instead, where you can filter by host metadata and by filter disk, to create logic you need.
Best regards
Yes, exactly. You can create a Custom disk-detection rule at the host-group level and disable it. As indicated in the UI, disabled custom rules exclude the matching disks from the Environment-level disk settings. For this specific requirement, this should be the simplest approach.
You can also consider Disk Edge, as @AntonPineiro mentioned, Dynatrace highlights Disk Edge as the improved disk anomaly-detection mechanism, and Disk Edge policies can also be configured at the Host Group level.
One possible Disk Edge approach would be to create a Host Group policy with a condition that can never realistically be met, for example: Available disk space (MiB) below 0
Hello @Mohamed_Hamdy
I appreciate your feedback. I am proceeding with the “Available disk space (MiB) below 0” implementation with optimism that the desired outcome will be realized.
