Dear All,

We currently manage over 150 queue manager configurations for remote monitoring and are looking to upgrade to the new extension. This upgrade necessitates the recreation of all configurations due to the introduction of new attributes in the extension, which do not permit straightforward upgrades. We attempted to use the API to upgrade one of the configurations to the new extension, incorporating the additional attributes; however, this approach was unsuccessful. What are the tested and verified methods available for upgrading to the new extensions without the need to recreate the configurations?

Currently the API is the best way. We’re looking to release automatic upgrades for all extensions, for SaaS, in the first half of 2027 though.

We attempted to use the API, but unfortunately, it was not successful for us. When can we anticipate the automatic upgrades for the Managed?

It’s not planned for Dynatrace Managed.
How come the API did not work?
