Exclude particular disk for particular host from monitoring or alert

Hello Folks,

I have requirement where we want to exclude one disk from monitoring for particular host.

I tried to utilize the Preferences --> Disk options however, it doesn’t have any option to add particular host.

By any other way can we do it? Kindly suggest.

Hi @AK , good day.

You can find this option in the specific host you want to exclude the disk monitoring, Exclude disks and network traffic from host monitoring — Dynatrace Docs

  • In the Dynatrace menu, go to Hosts and select the host for which you want to create a disk exclusion rule.
  • On the host overview page, select
  • > Settings.
  • Select Disk options.

Do you know what happen in you have a global custom disk rule?

Which is going to have preference?
