MS SQL DB Error

We are facing this error in an extension MS SQL DB end point- Port 1433: [ONGOING] - Query has failed: Invalid column name ‘logical_server_name’. [SQLState: S0001, ErrorCode: 207]. If some one could help on this, appreciate it.

Hi @thilinaab

I think this error happens because the extension is running a query containing logical_server_name—a column specific to Azure SQL Database system views—against a standard On-Premises or SQL Server VM instance where the column doesn’t exist.

Ensure the endpoint in Extension settings is configured for Microsoft SQL Server, not Azure SQL Database.
