Select Davis Anomaly Detection in Hub Hub - Dynatrace Playground - Dynatrace. Under the Technical information tab, you’ll find the required user permissions.

As for costs, executing DQL queries on raw data like logs or bizevents will generate query consumption as per your rate card.

For the anomaly detector cost calculation, what would be the best formula or approach to use? Currently, my method is as follows:

• I run a sample query for the potential alert the customer wants to create, using the last X minutes (sliding window).

• Since this query would run every minute for X minutes, I calculate:

  60 × 24 × Y (GB scanned)

• This gives me the total GB scanned per day, and then I apply the rate card to estimate the daily cost in dollars.

Could you confirm if this approach is correct? Or is there a specific metric or tool in Dynatrace that can help us calculate this more accurately?

As part of governance, they want to see the cost of this anomaly detector and compare if maybe a workflow would cost less.
