New sorting methods – Followed forums and Followed labels

Hello Dynatrace Community, 

We’re listening to your feedback very carefully (thanks to everyone who participated in this year‘s survey!), and today, we’d like to present you with the first step of implementing your feedback into life. We have two new content sorting methods on the Community main page, created on your request for a personalized feed 🎉

Now you can sort posts on the main page by: 

• Followed forums – thanks to this, you’ll be able to see the posts only from the sub-forums you’re subscribed to. So, if you’re interested only in content from Dashboarding and DQL, first click “Follow” on both and then choose this sorting option on the main page to see the posts from those two forums only. 

• Followed labels – this sorting method allows you to see only the posts using the labels that you’re subscribed to. If you want to see what is going on around the “extensions” and “oneagent” labels on the whole forum, make sure you’re following them first, and then use the sorting method “Followed labels” on the main page. You’ll get the list of all the newest threads (including Product Ideas) about those topics. 

Thanks to those two new options, you can further personalize your experience with the Dynatrace Community. While at the moment the solution isn’t perfect because of some technical limitations (we would love to create a single, personalized feed in the future to include followed posts as well), we already have plans to improve it next year, after migrating the Community platform to the new tech stack. But before that happens, we still wanted to give you something so you can get your Dynatrace content in your own way 😊
