When nostalgia hits the most? During the summer, of course! Nothing preserves memories as good as music, what leads us to the main theme of the June's Boombox Challenge: share your most nostalgic summer tracks!

Genre? Any! Year of release? Doesn't matter, but we assume the older track is, the more nostalgic load it has! Share titles in the form of list with links to YouTube or other platforms. Let's build 2024's Community Summer Playlist!

I love riding along with the first playlist, and the second is ideal for dancing but also feeling happy.

The summer nostalgy I get from music will be forever tied to the limited amount of CDs we had to load into an old radio that still works! xP There are plenty of songs that immediately bring me back to those lazy summer days, but if I had to pick 2:

Rock you like a Hurricane by Scorpions, from the World Wide Live album my father had. This album was launched in 1985, 11 years before I was even born 🤣 But I spent many many summer afternoons listening to it.

Dani California from the legendary Stadium Arcadium album by Red Hot Chili Peppers, is also very summer nostalgic to me. Reminds me of the influence my brother had in my musical tastes.
