Grail ingest pipeline quesion

Hello,

Looking at below pipeline in Grail, can I say that,

Metric extaction is just a fileter and a count (or attribute value count) would become time series data per minute?

Event extraction is also a (simple) filter, like if you see this message turn it into an event. Using little resources so to not hinder the pipeline.

Can somebody tell me a little about the security context?

Found the security part:

Dynatrace allows you to tweak your ingested log data by adding a dt.security_context attribute to specific log records. This enables you to set additional options, for example, permissions for individual records
