I'm in the process of converting a grafana dashboard to a Dynatrace equivalent and have run up against a number formatting issue.
I have a monitor that produces replication LSN metrics on a Prometheus endpoint. It is being scraped into Dynatrace which is storing the metric as a double type.
I want to display a timeline graph so it will show the steps in LSN. I normally see this as HEX values in Grafana.
Is there a way to do the number to hex string conversion on the metric when it is displayed on the Dynatrace dashboard?

Have you tried using the numberToHexString function in DQL?

Thanks for the reply.
As I understand it the Dynatrace graph tools are not setup to use a hex format string as a scalable value.
I've used that on a table column value. There was a catch however. The numberToHexString required I cast the double to a long before the function would generate the hex string.
