Dynamic Filters on Dashboard not filtering down

In my estate, I have an Application tag applied to a Host. When configuring the dynamic filters within the Dashboard setting, I define the dynamic filters to have an Application Tag with the specific application.

When  I go back to my dashboard and apply the Application filter, which auto-populates with what I entered earlier, it still displays everything. It never filters down to what I want. How can I fix this?

Are you referring to the dynamic filters in the classic Dashboards? If that's the case, make sure to include the affected entity types on the configuration of the filter and add any type of entity you might be interested in filtering with that Tag.
