Hi all,

we have a list of host that receives TCP comunication through xxxx to xxxx range port. we need to validate that those ports are always on.

how can we monitor those ports from those hosts and put that on a dashboard tile?

Hi,

If you have OneAgent installed in target host, you can use metric scripting integration.

You can those metrics ingested in data explorer, and to pin them a dashboard.

i can see the ports in the metadata of the process groups, can i work in some way with that info or i need to ingest it first ?

Hi @MariettaAlmeida,

You can use TCP monitorings with this new feature NAM monitoring (via API settings) from 1.296 Saas or managed server:

Dynatrace SaaS release notes version 1.296 - Dynatrace Docs

Network availability monitoring - Dynatrace Docs

Create a NAM monitor - Dynatrace Docs

I hope it helps.
