Custom event with bamboo and REST api

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with creating deployment events via the rest api in dynatrace SaaS?

We have a use case where our customer would like to see when a new release has been deployed to a service, and according to the documentation, this is possible by sending a CUSTOM_DEPLOYMENT event through bamboo.

I came across a dynatrace plugin for Appmon in atlassian's marketplace, but nothing dynatrace-specific.

Any ideas or pointers would be much appreciated.

Hi Juan,

Here is a good help page how to send custom deployment events from Jenkins that can easily copied for sending from Bamboo.
