Control Transaction storage with "Disable OneAgent traffic" setting

Hello.

We would like to know if we disable th OneAgent traffic for a node (or more) in the Dynatrace Cluster, will this stop adding new data on the transaction storage?

We would like to keep those nodes for historical purposes only and for as long as the retention period holds.

Thanks!

As indicated in the documentation, disabling the node prevents the addition of monitoring information and therefore to the transaction storage.

Thank you @PacoPorro  for your reply!

So does this mean that after the retention period passes, the transaction storage would be empty?

I expect so 🙂 . What I'm not sure is if there will be remaining files in the filesystem.
But if you see the link, it shouldn't be important because you can remove the node after the retention period.

Perfect! Marking it as solved.

Sorry for intruding into this post but I have similar challenge but for a SaaS, I want to know the traffic going to Dynatrace from mobile app monitoring using beacon url.
