Database connection metrics and alerts

Dear Community, 

This is my requirement: 

 1. Alerts when the DB connections are about to be fully consumed.

 2.Dashboard to see how many active, consumed, idle connections?

How can achive alerting for 1st point is it possible? I tried digging metrics for db connections in metrics explorer but I couldn't find metrics for 2nd point. I could find only these metricses. Can some one please help me achieve these.

Hi,

Oracle specific metrics are been provided by Oracle Activegate extension.

ActiveGate is mantadory. I would suggest you explore if your metrics are provided by that extension.
