Error when adding a new cluster node

Hi,

We are getting below error when adding a second cluster node:

 

Upgrade failed after 2 seconds.
Exit code: 3

Errors:
IP address <IP-1> used in previous installation doesn't belong to this machine anymore.

 

Just to highlight that <IP-1> is the IP address of the first cluster node.

Probably best to open a support ticket for this.

Aren't you accidentally running the installer on the first node? If not, be sure to check connectivity from the new node to be added to the existing nodes, including the one with the IP address mentioned.

So you either had a problem when uninstalling the previous attempt to install Dynatrace Managed on this host and /etc/dynatrace.conf was left - for example, you might have cloned the machine from the first node. Or you're passing in the installation parameters the IP that's not on the host's interfaces list.
