Insufficient disk space

We use dynatrace managed and are receiving these warnings:

Insufficient disk space on /opt/dynatrace-managed/cassandra (/dev/mapper/VG--dynatrace-LV--cass) on SERVER at location 'location' (id=6).

I've read the documentation but seems like a delicated task, anyone have some advice? Thanks.

Hello @ele30

  • Regarding the received warning events, it's an alert to increase the allocated storage resources for the Dynatrace cluster nodes.
  • It's recommended to keep all cluster nodes equally sized and assign sufficient storage resources as it's mostly consumed for the RUM , Transactions , and Logs.
  • It's better to have at least 1 TB on each cluster nodes and extend it periodically as per the monitoring requirements.

KR,

Peter.

Thank you, could you give me some hint about the procedure?

Hello @ele30

Simply you will take a screenshots from the severe events and advice the infrastructure team to increase the storage resources on the 3 cluster nodes equally.

BR,

Peter
