Hello Community
Who noticed the new consumption way of host units?
I have servers in my environment that are for example 34GB.
Before 34GB took fractions of type 2.25HU.
Now the value is rounded up to the next digit i.e. 3HU.
In the environment of several hosts, the gap is important.
Knowing that the estimation was built based on the old evaluation, how should we now justify this difference to our customers?
After a cluster update, we noticed a difference of more than 30HU.
Thanks to share your feedback and have a great day.

Hi @Malaik, as @Yosi_Neuman already pointed out, fractions are only relevant and always were for values below 16GB only.

Also worth to noticing - there is a tolerance of 50MB (for hosts below 16GB) or 500MB (above 16GB), so a host of 16.4GB RAM consumes still 1HU, 16.5GB is 2HU, etc. You will see that if you try to calculate the consumption by yourself from the host RAM.

You could reach out to Sales representative of SE if you see the increase post cluster update. Try to pull records logs of earlier consumption. Dynatarce may have any agreement which they can cap the utilization based on the contract. These configurations might have overridden during updates.
