In the "Deployment" steps, there is a wget command to get a Dynatrace-OneAgent-[OS SYSTEM]-1.185.137.sh file. I am wondering if this file is the same for each tenant or different?

Hi Yuting,
The file is going to be different, as each .sh will be linked back to the tenant that you originally downloaded it from.

We managed to install one agent for a tenant using the .sh file from another tenant. And we can see all the monitoring data. Wondering if that would be a issue.

Hi Yuting,
Unless you have changed where the one agent is pointing towards the tenant (which I don't believe is recommended), the agent will be pointing to the tenant it was downloaded from.

Binary in general is the same, key is konfigurator that is stored inside. This is why you have to use oneagent’s downloads from particular environment.

Whats the impact if we use a different one?

Hi Yuting,
If the agent version is the same, and the only difference is between the tenants you downloaded the agent from, then the impact will be where the data from the one agent is displayed.
Thanks,

What do you mean by "where the data from the one agent is displayed"? The data is displaying in the right environment.
