External vault integration for extensions 2.0

Hi, the documentation refers to external vault integration for e.g., Azure Key vault, but for Synthetic.

Is this type of external vault integration valid for extensions 2.0 too, as there is a tick box for Extension authetication when choosing to sync with an external vault? I can't find anything in the docs about this, although I founds some info on the community that indicates this would be available for v2.0 extensions.

I don't have access to Azure Key vault, otherwise I'd play around and try figure it out myself 😅

Any clarity on this, or possibly even a link to the docs which explains the setup, would be great! 🙂
