IBM MQ Extension - Not able to see local queues

we're running into a scenario where we have several queue managers configured( a mix of remote and oneagent configurations) where we are not able to see the local queues displayed in the local queue list under the Queue manager overview page for any given queue manager.

we can see everything else...alias queues, remote queues, channels, listeners etc.
we don't have any specific queue filters set in the configurations(using * to bring everything in) and i've confirmed with the mq app team that permissions have been properly set on the dtuser.

whats interesting is that undered "Monitored queues" section when looking at the list of queue managers, you can see the number of queues that you would expect to see. Also if i create a metric selector event based on a queue, i can see the data in data explorer. so it seems like the data is there and can been in other places except the queue list that you can get to from the ibm mq dashboard or the queue list when you go to the queue manager overview page.

we have a prod and non prod environment and where only seeing this happen in prod...im thinking perhaps there is global setting i forgot to set since this happening across both remote and oneagent configurations?

i do have a ticket opened for this but thought i would check to see if anyone else has seen this. this is in Dynatrace SaaS.

thanks,

Got a response back from support...hopefully this helps anyone that encounters this scenario.

Just to provide some context, we are moving from one mq monitoring solution to Dynatrace SaaS.
We have a lot metric events(like in the thousands)for queue managers, queues, etc that have to be recreated in Dynatrace with many of them having to be created as metric selector based events instead of metric key. Recently we've run into an issue where we hit our metric dismension/metric selector limitation which has prevented us from being able to create additional metric based events. What i didn't realize is that this would also affect viewing entity based data via the extension. so our ability to view the local queue data is directly tied to us hitting our metric limit...which now needs to be increased. Of couse this doesn't just affect IBM MQ but anything you plan to monitor using metric selector based events.

something to keep in Mind.

thanks,
