Customer identified a gap with the current MariaDB monitoring extension (com.dynatrace.maria-db version 1.0.0 on the Dynatrace Extension 2.0 Framework).
It appears that the extension does not support MariaDB monitor with SSL enabled.
They have tested and verified the following behavior:
- When SSL is enabled on the MariaDB, monitoring fails with error:
- “AuthException(), Method=query: ConfigException('Unable to connect to MySQL server')”.
- Once SSL is disabled, the monitoring resumes normal operation without any issues.
Would like to know if there are any custom configuration changes the client can make to the extension that may allow SSL to remain enabled. If this is not feasible, are there plans to support this in the future?
