Hii,

We have configured Oracle Database connection to monitor Oracle DB. Hence I want to monitor db connection metrics.

But it is not available through this extension.

Please suggest the way to get db connection.

Regards,

Prithvi.

My question is How can I monitor Oracel DB connection in Dynatrace

If you get metrics, your connection is working fine.

Hii @AntonPineiro ,

for your information , I have successfully configured oracle DB extension , But I want to monitor database connection count , which is not available by extension.

In case of MySql plugin , current DB connection count defined, But how can I get for Oracle DB extension also.

Best Regards,

Hi,

You can raise a product idea about it.

Or creating your own extension for creating your custom SQL queries.

If you have JVM 11 or above, you can get the data from the Connection Pools.

From Oracle, you can get that data by a script and then upload it to Dynatrace. Have a working case where it has been very helpful! And you can even dimension it by several values, including for instance user.
