it will be good and practical if you give us the opportunity to check and uncheck specific metrics from the Main box like I don't want queries for the last two to be re-directed to the database at all:

so if I only want to have those check boxes as I want - I should develop my own extension - is that what you are saying? 

Because currently I am using an Oracle Extension and this limitation is what I don't really like.

I don't have in enabled state those two metrics from Anomaly detection - basically I don't need them to be monitored or to receive any alerts from them and that is why in first place --> I don't want those queries to be executed on the database and in order this to happen I need to uncheck them in my configuration but I can't do that now unfortunately.

This option is available if you need a quick solution. You don't need to start from scratch as you can definitely adapt the current extension to include those queries as a FeatureSet or remove unnecessary queries to fit your use case.

If you're not comfortable modifying the extension yourself, you can wait for the extension team to review the product idea.
