Port check extension in DT Managed

Hi everyone!

Currently I am looking for an alternative of the Port check extension v1.021 for Dynatrace Managed. Is there any alternative with Extensions 2.0? Or is there any other way to configure a synthetic monitor for port checks?

Synthetic Network Availability Monitors can be used for Port checks.

NAM is still only available via the API in Dynatrace Managed, right? I saw another thread where it was announced that a UI will be created for that for Managed. Do you have any idea when this will be done?

Hey George, it's already available.

In the Synthetic page, you will now see a link to Network Availability Monitors

The link takes you to the list of Network Availability Monitors

From there you can create a Network Availability Monitor or go to the overview page for a specific monitor. 

And you can edit the Network Availaiblity Monitor from there. 

We're just waiting for the updated documentation to be approved.

And we do have NAM monitors set

@Yosi_Neuman in SaaS you have the new Synthetic app which allows you to define NAM monitors. Do you want to see it in the classic app in SaaS?

IMO, Yes it was great to see the entry from Synthetic classic page also on SaaS.
