Hi All,
We are trying to monitor the IBM MQ queues via the IBM MQ ActiveGate extension plugin but facing issues only when we use the encryption. Without encryption, we are able to make successful connection to the queue manager and able to retrieve all the metrics.
Dynatrace config error
Could not get data from queue manager: Unable to get data from queue manager XXX01. Could not connect to Queue Manager: Code: MQCC_FAILED, Reason: MQRC_SSL_INITIALIZATION_ERROR
IBM system logs - Error info
AMQ9639: Remote channel 'XXX.XX.SSL.DYNATRACE' did not specify a CipherSpec.
EXPLANATION:
Cause . . . . . : Remote channel 'XXX.XX.SSL.DYNATRACE' did not specify a
CipherSpec when the local channel expected one to be specified.
Though we have specified the same cipher both at the IBM system end and also in Dynatrace configuration still the issue persist - Cipher used - TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256
Please advise.

For such a specific issue, please open a Support ticket to better a assist you, then they can collect all your information, logs, etc. and help in troubleshooting.

Thanks for your reply, I indeed opened a support ticket but they did mentioned on the less visibility of this issue in the past. So thought of posting in the common forum to get more insights.
