Create one log metric from logs and events

I need to create one log metric from fields of the table that generate the log that was ingested by API

I created the custom atribute, and i created the metric extraction, 

but i can't see the metric from Data explorer or from metrics 

Could you help me to know if i need another process or how can i see or create the metric please?

Hi @DAVID_MTZ 

Could you please share the custom attribute configuration too?

I usually count log patterns: first creating a processing rule -> parse out the requested pattern, creating a custom attribute from it and create a log metric with occurence of log records and I use the custom attribute as a dimension.

The configuration is the same for all the custom attributes

I will do the procedure that you comment us :
