How to define log file name in path?

in log monitoring,

in a particular path I have last 10 days log files and the file names are created abc_mmddyyyy. here in mmddyyyy, the log file name created by date which is created on that particular day.

here my use case is i need to monitor only recently(today) created file out of 10 days files. anyone can suggest how will have to define log file name in path.
