Hello,
I am currently trying to draw an architecture picture for the use of Dynatrace in our company.
We are using OA, installed on the servers, and AG to collect the data before sending it to the Dynatrace SaaS.
My question are:
Is Dynatrace using active or passive monitoring? If the use both, where are they using which?
Is the collection of data done by push or pull monitoring?
Greetings,
Max

Hi,
It is using pushing, OneAgents push to ActiveGates and ActiveGates push to Dynatrace server:

Dynatrace oneagent collect the information and send it out to Activegates or the cluster.
Communication from OneAgent to Dynatrace is outbound only.
