When you install the Dynatrace OneAgent on AIX, it creates and uses a dedicated system user called dtuser. This user owns all agent-related files and is used to run the OneAgent service.
However, in some environments (for example, banking or secure enterprise setups), you may want the agent to run under a specific pre-approved or existing user like sandeep.
I have already installed the agent, now I want to change the default name. Please help, I did not find anything on Dynatrace documentation regarding AIX name change.

Hi Sandeep,
I took a look at the documentation too and the only
article I found was https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/ingest-from/dynatrace-oneagent/installation-and-operation/aix/instal.... There is nothing about name change unfortunately. But I will ask around if someone else could help you.
Regards,
Monika

Here is a deeper link to the name changing documentation https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/ingest-from/dynatrace-oneagent/installation-and-operation/linux/inst.... Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hi again,
Here is a more specific answer that might help you:
If the USER=<username> parameter is specified, the installer uses <username> as the name of the unprivileged user.
Cheerio,
