Hi folks,
We are receiving so many alerts where there is any small anomaly observed so can we update the threshold configurations for the Management Zones related to INFRA, Service, and error-based problems? Specifically, we need to transition from Autoadaptive thresholds to max-value thresholds and ensure that alerts include details about the affected servers or entities.

Hi,
Can you do it in host group instead management zone?
Best regards

Hi,
You can use anomaly detection in environment, host group and host.
Some alternatives would be using API + script to apply it only in host level which are in MZ X. Or apply it host group and override it in host level for application B. It would depends about how many hosts you have in application A and B.
Best regards

Dynatrace, Management Zones are used for organizing and segmenting your environment, but they don't directly control anomaly detection settings for infrastructure.
https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/problem-detection-sensitivity-infrastructure
You can configure anomaly detection on these levels—environment, host group, host

cannot be achieved using mgt zones the purpose of mgtzones in Dynatrace are logical groupings of entities (like applications, services, or hosts) that help customize views, dashboards, access control, and alerts for different teams but thresholds can be controlled on host or hostgroup level
