Hi Everyone,
Our customer asked us to ingest the syslogs to Dynatrace. Within the documentation it appears how the configuration is done inLinux but the customer has installed an activegate on Windows and due to budget issues the can not deploy a linux server for this purpose. I wonder if it is possible to perform the configuration using that activegate and where would be located the paths described in the documentation as we have checked and it does not appear.
Hope you can help us. Thanks in advance

The documents for syslog ingestion specifically mention that this capability is available on Linux via an embedded OpenTelemetry collector. I suspect the Windows version does not support this capability.

That's what I was afraid of. And will there be any other alternative to be able to extract that information? The information we want to extract is from a Checkpoint Firewall.

I am not sure what Dynatrace would say about this, but if it were me, I would explore standing up an independent syslog receiver (perhaps co-hosted on the AG server) that writes the data to log files that can then be ingested by Dynatrace.
