DPS Costs for each extension

CDoorbar83

We have multiple Extensions running (VMware, Juniper, Windows Remote, SQL Server) and all are configured with a Cost product.

I can only see how much/ how many data points for my whole environment

How do i get a view per Extension/Cost product so that i can see how much each extension costs per day/month/Year?

thanks

Craig

Hi @CDoorbar83
I think there is no direct way, however I think that you can get to the result you need or at least get close.

The extensions, depending on which one it is, make use of Event Ingestion, Metrics, Logs and each of them has a "capabilities" in your Rate Card (Pricing), its unit of measurement and exact cost must be shown.
Then:

1.- Use the information shown in the "Extension usage" and "Extensions Health" Dashboards to identify consumption based on the unit of measurement per extension.

2.- Cross-check the Rate-Card (Pricing) information with what is obtained from consumption.

I hope its helpful 💪
