I appreciate your feedback. I do not observe the identical on/off mechanism. Rather, we must decrease the percentage and sample limit parameters. Furthermore, even if I adjust the value to 0%, alerts will still be activated.

I appreciate your comments. Are you suggesting that the aforementioned custom rule, which has been created and subsequently disabled, should perform an equivalent function for the hosts group?

Yes, exactly. You can create a Custom disk-detection rule at the host-group level and disable it. As indicated in the UI, disabled custom rules exclude the matching disks from the Environment-level disk settings. For this specific requirement, this should be the simplest approach.

You can also consider Disk Edge, as @AntonPineiro mentioned, Dynatrace highlights Disk Edge as the improved disk anomaly-detection mechanism, and Disk Edge policies can also be configured at the Host Group level.

One possible Disk Edge approach would be to create a Host Group policy with a condition that can never realistically be met, for example: Available disk space (MiB) below 0
