Dynatrace Bug, Character Limits or invalid special characters?

We ran into an issue where a user was defining a Management Zone. In doing so he was selecting 2 different web applications:

Cxxxxx Mxxxxxxxxx - Exxxxxxxx (29 characters with Spaces)

To which, it works:

But when using the other application name:

Cxxxxx Mxxxxxxxxx - Exxxxxxxx - Axxxxxxx it fails to capture the application even though, its less than the 80 Character limit per the support document.

and yes, the application is active. now If I change and use the entity selector based off the names, I get the same result:

So if its not liking the name both entity selector and monitored entity mode, then i decided to shift to the App Id, which works.

Which then moved me to make an outrageous application name just looking at characters.... First is the dash design:

and once more:

But now as I even test it with "ends with", I'm not seeing what I expect:

but contains works:

The dynatrace Document states:

"Choose the condition Property, Operator, and Value (where relevant). For example, you can specify that the Web application name begins with a specified string. You can enter up to 80 characters; wildcard characters are not allowed; regular expressions are allowed in the contains regex and does not contain regex condition operators."

I'm at a loss. Our cluster version is: 1.299.38.20240829-085520
